I want to start off by saying that I don't know why on Earth I thought that getting white Converse was going to be a good idea. Don't get me wrong, I love love these shoes for their crisp, classic versatility. However, this southern girl is accident prone. I'm talking food in hair, makeup on shirt, mud on brand new white shoes. Trust me, I'm trying to get it together and I guess having these shoes will force me to get it together a little faster.
Other than my shoe nervousness though, I am completely obsessed with this outfit. The dress was a bit of a serendipitous find at Forever 21 which makes it that much sweeter. I went in looking for nothing in particular and found this same dress in navy blue. Of course I bought it but was dying to know if it came in grey too. Turns out it did, but since nothing in Forever 21 is ever where its suppose to be, I figured I was S.O.L. You know how that goes :]
But after a few days I decided to test my luck and went back in search of the grey dress. When I tell you I went to the OPPOSITE side of the store where I found the blue one, looked for maybe 5 minutes and found this little gem tucked between some denim jackets I am not kidding!!
Because this dress is kinda form fitting, I wanted to pair it with something that covered my tush a little in the daytime, so denim jacket to the rescue. I also added this blue + gold necklace that is super old from Francesca's and some gold hoops to tie everything together.
